Itinerary
Jabal Al-Noor (Mount of Light) – Location of Ghar Hira (Cave of Hira), where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)received the first revelation of the Qur’an. Jabal Thawr (Mount Thawr) – The cave where Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Abu Bakr (RA) sought refuge during the Hijra to Madinah. Arafat (Mount Arafat) – Site of the Prophet’s (PBUH) Farewell Sermon. Pilgrims visit to reflect and pray. Mina – Known for the ritual of stoning the devil during Hajj. Pilgrims visit the area for its historical significance. Muzdalifah – Located between Mina and Arafat, known as the place where pilgrims collect pebbles for the stoning ritual. Jannat Al-Mu’alla – A historic cemetery where several relatives of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), including his wife Khadijah (RA), are buried.
Jannat Al-Baqi – The resting place of many companions and family members of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Masjid Quba – The first mosque built in Islam. Praying here holds great rewards. Masjid Al-Qiblatayn (Mosque of the Two Qiblas) – The mosque where the Qibla was changed from Jerusalem to Makkah during prayer. Uhud Mountain and the Site of the Battle of Uhud – The site of a significant battle in Islamic history, where many companions, including Hamza (RA), were martyred. The Seven Mosques (Saba’ Masjid) – Historic mosques linked to the Battle of the Trench (Ghazwa Al- Khandaq). Tips for Ziyara Wear modest and comfortable clothing. Be respectful at all sites, maintaining a peaceful demeanor. Use the opportunity to pray and reflect on the history and sacrifices of early Muslims. Plan your visit early in the day to avoid crowds and heat. Do not attribute myths or legends to Islamic teachings without verification. Keep safety in mind while experimenting with your vehicle at Wadi Al Jinn.
